TrackSTer: Chicago Or Bust
As we mentioned in our last update for Focus TrackSTer, we’ve recently seen the project scope widen dramatically. What was originally planned to be a Focus with mild street and weekend track-day cred, has now morphed into a project aimed at turning up both qualities to eleven. In other words, thanks to our good friends at Ford Racing we’re pleased to confirm that things around Project ST have recently gotten a whole lot more fun.
Simply put, we’ve been given the green light to add a bunch of extra horses to the TrackSTer’s resume, and the way in which we’re planning to go about it is exciting in and of itself. We’re partnering up with a very big name in the performance Ford world, and when we’re finally allowed to reveal just who it is we’re referring to, we hope more than a few jaws are going to drop, and a whole bunch of heads are going to nod.
We’ll be revealing details on all of that, along with debuting the TrackSTer itself, February 7, live from the Chicago Auto Show. Unfortunately, the car will not be attending the show for the public days, but we’ll be sure to post up a large gallery of photos from the event.
After a truly mind-numbing couple weeks of late nights and hard work by the team at Project ST and our awesome TrackSTer project partners, the car is finally on its way to Chicago. To make sure you’re on top of all the latest up-to-the-minute updates and project pics, make sure you follow along on the fifteen52projectST Facebook and Instagram pages.
Next stop, Chicago!
